Now that the war – or more accurately, wars – are over, everyone seems to be celebrating the achievement of Israeli arms and men over the past two years. It can’t be denied that the operations against Iran and Hezbollah (although less obviously in Gaza) were impressive, and credit deservedly goes to the army, air force and intelligence agencies responsible.
