A new police procedure authorizes officers to use their private mobile phones to film protesters during demonstrations and upload the footage to police systems. The procedure was drafted in recent months by the police Operations Division and distributed across units following a petition to the High Court of Justice filed by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.
