This lecture series explores the foundations of Jewish religious thought, the historical development of Jewish communities in Eastern Europe, and the spiritual legacy of the Hasidic movement. The course introduces participants to key concepts of Judaism, the lives and teachings of prominent Hasidic leaders (tzaddikim), and the role of Jewish tradition in shaping communal and spiritual life.
Through historical context, textual insights, and discussion, participants gain a deeper understanding of Jewish religious identity, traditions, and values. Special attention is given to the development of Hasidic thought and its influence on Jewish communities in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
The program is open to adults interested in Jewish history, religion, and spiritual heritage. Lectures combine historical scholarship with practical insights into Jewish tradition and religious life.
